Membership Eligibility
Applying for membership and opening your account online is fast, easy and secure. To apply online you must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien and at least 18 years of age or older. Visit joinadvancial.org to apply online and open a credit union account today!
If you would prefer a paper application, please download and print the membership application. Once you join Advancial, you’re always a member as long as you maintain the minimum savings balance of $5. To determine if your company or association is an Advancial Select Employer Group, please contact your local branch or our Member Service Center at 800.322.2709.
To enjoy the benefits of being a credit union member with Advancial, you must be one of the following:
- An employee or member of one of our Select Employer Groups or Associations
- An immediate family member or household member of one of the above
- Live, work, worship or attend school in one of the following Louisiana parishes: Acadia, Avoyelles, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin or Vermillion
An immediate family member includes any spouse, significant other, parent, grandparent, brother, sister, grandchild, stepparent, stepchild, stepsibling and adoptive relationships. A household member is anyone living in the same residence and maintaining the same economic unit, such as a roommate.
Keep in mind that even if your immediate family or household member who makes you eligible is not currently a member of Advancial, you are still able to join!
Becoming a Select Employer Group or Select Association Group at Advancial is free of charge and provides your employees or members with access to our wide array of competitive financial products and services.
