Debit AutoPay Sweepstakes Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility: The Advancial Federal Credit Union Autopay Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to legal residents of the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Alaska who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of Sweepstakes entry. RESIDENTS OF ANY OTHER STATES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. In addition, employees, officers, volunteers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers of Advancial, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Offer void where prohibited.
2. Sponsor: The official sponsor of the Sweepstakes is Advancial Federal Credit Union (“Advancial”), 10000 N. Central Expy., Ste. 1400, Dallas, Texas 75231-2319.
3. Prize: A total of 5% (five percent) of entrants will be awarded a refund of the payment that is selected at random as the winner valued up to but not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00 USD) each. Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entry forms received during the Promotion Period. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others is permitted except at Advancial’s discretion.
4. Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the final number of entries received. Advancial expects to receive as many as 1,000 entries, with odds of winning estimated at approximately 1:20.
5. Promotion Period: The Sweepstakes begins on 8/1/2025 at 12:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time (“CDT”) and ends on 9/30/2025 at 11:59 p.m. CDT (the “Promotion Period”).
6. How to Enter: There are three (3) ways to enter the Sweepstakes.
a. Set up an Automatic Payment in cuAnywhere® Online Banking with your Advancial Visa debit card: To enter with Automatic Payments, simply set up an Automatic Payment in cuAnywhere using your Advancial Visa debit card as the payment source. Each Automatic Payment you set up will count as an entry into the contest, with a maximum of ten (10) entries allowed.
b. Mail-In Entry: To enter by U.S. Mail, entrants must hand-print their first and last name, address, city, state, ZIP code, e-mail address, and daytime and evening telephone numbers (including area code) on a 3” x 5” card, and mail, in a #10 envelope, with postage affixed, to Advancial Federal Credit Union, Attn: Marketing, Debit Autopay Sweepstakes, 10000 N. Central Expy., Suite 1400, Dallas, TX 75231-2319. Each mail-in entry will count as one (1) entry into the drawing and must be mailed in a separate postmarked-and-stamped envelope. Entrants may alternatively hand-deliver their 3” x 5” card to any Advancial branch location. Incomplete entries will not be counted as eligible for the drawing.
c. Online: To enter online, visit this URL and enter all required information fields. Incomplete entries will not be counted as eligible for the drawing.
7. Lost, Damaged or Incomplete Entries: Advancial is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, any software, hardware, computer or networking issues, postal service delays, or any other circumstances, technical or otherwise, beyond Advancial’s control. Advancial is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, corrupted, illegible, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which (if received) will be disqualified. Proof of mailing does not constitute proof of delivery. All entries become the property of the Advancial and will not be returned or acknowledged.
8. Ten Entries Per Person: Only ten (10) entries per person are permitted, regardless of the method of entry used. Any attempt by any one or more entrants to obtain more than ten entries through any means including, without limitation, using multiple or different e-mail addresses, identities, registrations, log-ins or other methods will void all entries from that entrant and such entrant will be disqualified.
9. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected at random each month, beginning 8/1/2025 and ending on 9/30/2025 from qualifying entries actually received by Advancial during the Promotional Period. The random drawing will take place at Advancial’s branch location at 10000 N. Central Expy., Ste. 1400, Dallas, Texas 75231-2319. Winners will be notified immediately using the information provided on their entry form. If Advancial is unable to contact a chosen winner by phone, mail or email within ten (10) calendar days of the drawing date, his or her entry shall be voided and a new winner will be chosen by random drawing from the remaining entries. Delivery of the prize will be within the sole discretion of Advancial.
10. Responsibility of Winners: Winners are solely responsible for all applicable taxes in connection with the award or acceptance of any prize, and the reporting consequence thereof. Any and all prize related expenses, including, without limitation, any and all federal, state and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of each winner.
11. Rights Granted by you: By entering this Sweepstakes and accepting any prize, you understand and agree that Advancial, anyone acting on behalf of Advancial, or its respective licensees, successors and assigns, will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide, in any media now known or hereafter, in perpetuity, your entry, including, without limitation, your name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image or statements about the Sweepstakes, and biographical information. Such information may be used, without limitation, for purposes of news, publicity, trade, advertising, public relations and promotion without any further compensation to you.
12. Additional Terms and Conditions: Advancial reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes if it appears that a virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control may corrupt, affect or call into question the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, Advancial may select the recipients from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) any such action taken by Advancial. Advancial reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or violates these Official Rules or applicable law. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Advancial reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.
13. Limitation of Liability: By entering you agree to release and hold harmless Advancial and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof, (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any computer, cable, network, hardware or software; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions or telephone or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (v) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries.
14. Official Rules and Applicable Law: The Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. All determinations by Sponsor with regard to the interpretation and enforcement of these Official Rules shall be final. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. The receipt by winner of any prize offered in this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with these Official Rules and with any and all applicable federal, state or local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY ANY WINNER (AT ADVANCIAL'S SOLE JUDGMENT) WILL RESULT IN SUCH WINNER'S DISQUALIFICATION AS A WINNER OF THE SWEEPSTAKES AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
15. Disputes: THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND THE STATE OF TEXAS, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, participant agrees that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Texas having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
