DALLAS, TX (May 20, 2021) — Continuing a multi-year streak, Advancial Federal Credit Union won multiple 2021 Communicator Awards, snagging one gold Excellence Award and three silver Distinction Awards.

“It’s always exciting to be recognized by the annual Communicator Awards,” said Deborah Griesbach, Chief Marketing Officer of Advancial. “Our marketing team works hard to help grow our credit union with creative materials and engaging communications, so it’s great for all of us to have those efforts validated by these distinctions.”

This year, Advancial’s Banking Redefined financial education presentation was honored with the gold Excellence Award in the Design Features – Overall Design for Corporate Communications category. Silver Distinction Awards were won for the Individual – Infographic for Branded Content, the Annual Report – General – Corporate / Business for Corporate Communications, and the General – Banking/Bill Paying for Websites categories.

LAFAYETTE, LA (September 24, 2020) — Advancial Federal Credit Union won Best Bank in the Times of Acadiana’s Best of Acadiana contest, announced at a virtual event on September 24. The Acadiana community has honored Advancial with this award for three years in a row.

With one branch located on Kaliste Saloom and another branch on Johnston Street, Advancial has served the local community with great financial products and personal service since they first opened a branch in Lafayette in 1985.

“We’re humbled to be chosen for the third time as the Best Bank in Acadiana,” said Brent Sheffield, President and CEO of Advancial. “This has been a challenging year for all of us, so we’re thrilled to have something so wonderful to celebrate.”

Darla Mire, South Lafayette branch manager, was excited – but not surprised. “We’re invested in this community. Our members are our friends and neighbors and we work every day to help them reach their financial goals” she said. “Three years in a row is a huge achievement, but we’re not slowing down any time soon!”

Community Development Manager Lacey Maynor echoed Mire’s enthusiasm. “Even with the turmoil we’ve all experienced this year, our team here in Acadiana has remained committed to bringing the best, most innovative financial tools to our community so that we could all weather this storm together,” she said. “It’s so rewarding to know that our efforts have earned us such a high honor.”

Eligible members can now submit a balance transfer through the mobile app. This option is located in the Card Maintenance menu.
 

Enrollments

You can now enroll, unenroll and manage your enrollments for Bill Payer, Remote Deposit, Save Up and other services.
   

International Wire Transfers

A new eSign feature has replaced oral disclosures to reduce the amount of time you spend processing your wire transfer. You’ll need to enroll in eSign under Paperless Settings in cuAnywhere Online Banking before you can begin using this feature in the app. After that, you can proceed with your transfer as usual.

Advancial Federal Credit Union won Best Bank in the Times of Acadiana’s Best of Acadiana contest, announced at an event on June 26 at The Victorian in Broussard. This is the second year in a row for Advancial to receive that recognition.

“We are so honored to top this list,” said Brent Sheffield, President and Chief Executive Officer for Advancial. “Being recognized by the community as Best Bank is a wonderful confirmation that our personal approach and family-oriented style help make Advancial a special place both to bank and to work.”

Advancial has been serving members in Lafayette for many years, with their first physical branch opening in 1985. They now operate two beautiful branches on Kaliste Saloom and Johnston Street and have developed a local reputation for great products and personal service.

Lacey Maynor, Advancial’s Community Development Manager in Lafayette, received the award at the Times of Acadiana’s event. “The Times is well-known and established locally,” she said. “The nomination and voting process for this contest really provide a good indication of local enthusiasm. I know Advancial is enthusiastic about Acadiana – it’s great to see that the feeling is mutual!”

Lafayette Branch Manager Connie Boudreaux is confident Advancial will continue to build on their strong reputation and relationships in the area.
